it looks like our 'tooth' was a false alarm! 
which makes me feel quite goofy with this being my 5th, but in my defense, my mom and dh seen and felt it, but now there's nothing there. course I always said I'd not mind if he held off on teeth til he was 7 months, so I guess he's just following orders. LOL! ah well!
